Mar 18 - 07:30 PM: Art Show - Spring Summer '10

The next round of art is due to go up soon. As usual we will be featuring original local art. The artists for this show are Stacey Mrva, Joe Allard, Michael Ferreri, Emily Burke and Bradley Butler.

Of particular note will be Stacey Mrva's work. She did the beer themed metal workings for the current show. It was the most enthusiastically received work we have have ever displayed. She is putting together a new show with all new pieces so come on down and check it out.

The official opening is at 7.30 and will include complimentary finger food.

Mar 24 - 08:00 PM: McBane's - SlyPA Launch

As some of you may have heard by now, we brewed the next beer in the McBane's series of brews with Sly Fox brewery. Our friends from Lovin' Cup brewed their own beer the day before. They brewed a Kolsch style beer and we brewed a West Coast inspired IPA with a distinctive Japanese twist.

Lovin' Cup will be launching theirs on March 23rd at their place. Check out their site for more details on that one. We will be launching our beer the following evening but will be incorporating the Lovin' Cup brew as part of the event.

The event will be a KEG RACE! Our McBane's SlyPA vs. their Foxy Lady Kolsch. It will be set up market style in the pub with each team trying to sell their beer the quickest from their respective table. At stake will be pride, bragging rights and of course some sort of booby prize for the loser.

So all we need from you guys is to come down and drain that keg of McBane's - SlyPA ASAP!!! The Foxy Lady will be available to try all night so lets get the SlyPA done. Ok? Are you guys in or what? Tap and Mallet's honor is a stake! I am sure that with full commitment we can kick this keg in 20 minutes or less no problemo. We did a Life and Limb keg in 18 minutes.

Mar 31 - 08:00 PM: Beer Social - Lake Placid

March is the month of Lake Placid brewery. Brewery staff will be here to take us through a range of their beers. Some will be familiar. Some will be tasted that are only available at the brew pub so look forward to some pleasant surprises. They produce a range that encompasses a wide range of styles.

We will be selling tickets prior to the event due to the popularity of Beer Socials. Tickets are limited.

Tickets are $12 and will include beer samples and finger food.
